Publications

Dale R. Baringer and James S. Holliday, Jr., APLC, the core of our firm’s leadership, have combined experience in the practice of law that spans over 80 years between them. They have each dedicated themselves to contributing to the betterment of their own expertise, the legal profession and the legal system through scholarly writing and teaching of fellow members of the bar.

Mr. Holliday’s published writings include: The Public Trusts Act in Louisiana: A Practical Approach to a Continuing Problem, Louisiana Bar Journal, September, 1972; Louisiana Construction Law, Thomson West Publishing Co., 1991; Louisiana Corporations, Thomson West Publishing Co., 1984; Employment Contracts; A Checklist for the Draftsman, Louisiana Bar Journal, 1983; and numerous seminar papers which have been presented at numerous seminars over the course of his career and published in book form for sale to the public.

In 2013, Mr. Baringer became a co-author with Mr. Holliday and others of annual updated issues of Louisiana Construction Law, Thomson West Publishing Co., 1991, and Louisiana Corporations, Thomson West Publishing Co., 1984. Mr. Baringer has also written and presented over 100 legal seminar papers which have been published in book form for sale to the public.
