James R. Bullman is a partner at The Baringer Law Firm, L.L.C., with extensive experience in handling complex litigation and transactional matters. Areas of emphasis in practice are in the fields of construction law, business and commercial litigation, real estate, labor and employment law, ERISA litigation and personal injury law.

In 2013, he graduated Cum Laude from Southern University Law Center with a Juris Doctrate. While at SULC, James was a senior editor of the Southern University Law Center Law Review, where he focused his research and writing on Mennonite litigation. In addition to Law Review, James was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. After his first year at SULC, James clerked at the United States Department of Justice, United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Louisiana.

In 2008, James graduated, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University and A&M College, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While at LSU, he was a founding member of Epsilon Eta chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu.

In the community, James serves on the executive committee for the Dean Henry George McMahon American Inn of Court, an association of lawyers, judges and other legal professional with a passion for professional excellence. Additionally, James serves on the Board of Advisors for Democrats for Education Reform, an organization that advocates for new and accountable public schools.
